Matthew James has taken over! It's ok just weird, we had Phil and Renee over and I was blessed by Renee. She told me by the end of the night "He's doing really good." Let me explain, all night from the time they got here I could not get this kid to sleep. And not to sound like a broken record but I have no idea what I'm doing. I have only taken care of children twice, once when I was in high school and I went with Sarah to babysit Steven and Becky (Amy's kids) when Becky was two! She is now a freshmen in high school and a year ago (about) when I went up and watched Bryan's kids for a few hours! That's it! I'm not joking. And like everyone already knows I'm an only child so I wasn't around other little kids growing up. With all that said I just do the five things I know to do which is feed, burp, change, hold and put to sleep. Sarah's grandma got me the book What to Expect for the First Year, thank God, and I mean that you should see the book it looks like I've had it for years. Not a day goes by that I don't look up something. But the book can't tell me "Angela he is doing really good." Which I needed to hear cause the whole night I'm thinking "Poor Phil and Renee they are going to run out of our house yelling "Thank goodness, that's not us!" I wouldn't blame them I use to do that before I had a baby. LOL. Sorry friends with kids but it's true, but look who's laughing now. (Wait it's still me) Anyway here's to Matty and everything that comes with him being part of our crazy life. Good luck kid you're gonna need it!
