God is good! And today I was so blessed to take our little boy to the Avila Barn. I have wanted for so many years to be able to take our child to the pumpkin patch! Now after 5 years of waiting today was the day! It's was perfect! I couldn't ask more from the Lord than to be a parent.
Seven random things about myself......
1. I am one of the shyest people you will ever meet! When it's strangers I could care less but if I have to meet people that I might have to see or talk to again I freeze. Which makes it very hard for me to meet new people but once you get to know me you can't get me to shut-up. So then I look like I'm a snob or "stand-offish" because people see me being my normal self (which means loud and talkative) to people I know but when a new person comes around I act like a weirds-mobile ( which means non-friendly and rude) and the sad part is I like to be friends with everyone but I seriously need a wing-man. I can not go it alone! And since all my wing-women are gone (thanks meg gena kate and sarah) I pretty much stand around hoping people don't talk to me cause that would be the worse!
2. First I just have to ask how random is random? I like to think about people that I don't really know exist. Example, I'll think to myself I wonder if there is someone in New York thinking about me in California. I guess that is kinda random, or I will look at people in the car next to me and I'll think about what their life is like or guess where I think they might be going.
3. I dream about the big white Queen Anne victorian (it's a house) in Oceano at least once a year. But it's more like 3 times a year. I dream about architecture a lot!
4. I don't realize I have red hair. I grew up with family members who all have brown hair so I think I have brown hair. I know I don't but I will see other redheaded people and think "Wow that person has got some red hair! I do not realize I have the same brunt orange colored beacon on top of my head! I think that I blend in with all those brown haired people...wrong! At least the top of my head is easy to spot in a crowd!
5. I change my handwriting every couple of years but I thought everybody did that!?
6. I love this thing my Papa Honey use to make, you take water and vinegar and put it in a bowl and you cut up red onions and cucumber and chill over night.....it is so good!
7. Thank goodness only one more.....I don't understand why I have freckles in places that never see the sun!
This year since Matty is little and will have no idea if the his present is the gift we spent hours looking for or the bag it came in, I wanted to get him stuff that is personalized...... look at the cute stuff I found.
